Founded by sisters Katrina and Jacobe Legault, The Hudson Holiday Market began with a heartfelt intention: to offer local artisans—many without brick and mortar shops—a beautiful and thoughtful space to share their work with the community during the most magical time of the year. What started as a small gesture of support has grown into a beloved annual tradition that celebrates the warmth, connection, and magic of the holiday season.
Rooted in Community, Wrapped in Magic
More than a market, the Hudson Holiday Market is a curated experience designed to delight all the senses. Picture charming vendor stalls filled with hand-crafted treasures, seasonal food and drink to warm your hands and heart, visits from Santa Claus and the local fire department, live music drifting through the crisp air, whimsical face painting, festive photo sessions, and enchanting details waiting to be discovered around every corner. Every element, from the styling of each booth to the gentle glow of the lights, is thoughtfully considered to create a setting that feels as magical (and photo-worthy) as it is memorable.
At its heart, the Hudson Holiday Market is a celebration of community. Each year, we proudly dedicate booth space to charitable initiatives, and are proud of our ongoing partnership with NOVA, an extraordinary organization offering compassionate in-home care through dedicated nurses. This cause is deeply meaningful to us and has become a cornerstone of the event.
The market continues to evolve through the feedback of those who visit. After an overwhelming response in our second year, it became clear that a single weekend simply wasn’t enough. To better welcome all who wished to experience the market, we’ve thoughtfully expanded the event across three festive weekends. When families expressed a desire for shelter from the winter chill, we responded. Thanks to our friends at Sperry Tents Canada, guests now enjoy the warmth and elegance of a beautifully appointed, heated space, ensuring comfort without compromise.
